A delicate blossom has abandoned it's post on a nearby tree. It's still young, paper thin pedals bracing itself against a very weathered and splintered picnic table. Perhaps a space once filled with laughter, summer popcycles, and games of tag. Now, sitting silent after another winter season. Both sharing the embrace of the mid-morning sun. However, the blossom's presence signals another chance for summer joviality, backyard burgers, and the scent of freshly cut grass. The abandonment is perhaps almost over.
