Out of the ruins of a scorched world, life perseveres.  With vibrancy and tenacity.  I'm reminded of the control burns of south Louisiana when I was younger.  Burning fields of sugarcane would revitalize the soil for the following season.  A patern often repeated in the human experience.  Great disasters and hardships can often yield great beauty and peace.
