A true wild one.  A Black Eyed Susan, as I've always known them to be, are known by many names, and they have many medicinal purposes.  From boosting immunities to fight the flu to treating children for snake bites, this flower meets many needs.   I personally was drawn to this image I captured infront of our old shop.  It had just rained.  The yellows and golds that comprise their pedals are so dynamic and profound, it is hard to believ they are so often overlooked.
